Balmoral Wheelchair Race 2008

New for 2008 the first 10k wheelchair event. For the first time at Balmoral a dedicated Wheelchair 10k race featured. This invitational elite wheelchair athletes event is one of very few of its kind in the UK. Sponsored by Aberdeenshire Disability Sport the field of athletes comprised a field of some of the UK's best wheelchair athletes namely:

• Richie Powell, Wales
• Mark Telford, Scotland
• Steve Williamson, England
