Favourite Food: Granny’s Sunday dinner: roast beef, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding & all the trimmings
Best Sporting Moment: Hitting the finishing shoot to win Ironman UK 2007 – A first time only ever comes once, winning your 1st major is special but to win in it on home soil and in a course record time doesn’t get any better - The best feeling in the world!
Worst Sporting Performance: Not fulfilling my own expectations & potential at the European Long Distance Champs, Brasschaat, Belgium 2007 when the airline lost my bike in transit and then struggled through the bike leg on a borrowed women’s road bike. On reflection it made an interesting bike racking scenario when I saw all the other pro's shining up there fancy carbon fibre frames.
Favourite thing to do besides training: Watching good Movies/TV, socialising with friends, eating carbs and not feeling guilty & unwinding during the festive period.
